Spencer Manufacturing Inc. was founded in 1986 by Brian Spencer as Spencer Repair Service.
As a volunteer fireman himself, the one-man shop repaired and rebuilt specialty vehicles from a pole barn, quickly gaining a reputation for excellence and reliability.
After a few years of steady growth and deep rebuild experience, Spencer Repair Service grew into Spencer Manufacturing, shifting its primary focus to fire truck apparatus design and build. Spencer Manufacturing's high-quality builds, client-centric customer service, and laser-focused attention to detail led to exponential growth and placed the growing company firmly as a trusted partner in the industry. The name became synonymous with reliability and expertise.
The pride, attention to detail, and the value that was placed in every relationship within the business was the foundation.
Today, that foundation remains unchanged - still family-owned, still hands-on, and still committed to building custom trucks the right way.
Under Grant, Garrett and Quintin Spencer's leadership, Spencer Fire Trucks has tripled production and doubled its workforce as it continues to provide departments across the nation with superior, fully customized trucks designed and built with departments.
